As I sit and reflect on another incredible wedding season, I can vividly recall this day at Crooked Willow Farms as now seen on Style Me Pretty. Erin and Matthew walked into my studio and I instantly felt connected to them. They are quirky and cool and had a serious sense of personal style. Their wedding day was no different. From her insane gown, ear cuff, dark painted nails and his slim suit – their vibe was abundant. Sometimes it can be daunting when clients have a very clear vision and a sense of design, but they were so willing to let me run with it, totally trusting me in the process. They also had the help of the talented women at A Vintage Affair  pulling together the details as only they can. Cool couple + great vendors = this kind of a day. I was lucky to be a small part of it. Makeup by the incomparable Liz Wergzyn and beautiful photography by Connie Whitlock.

This day was nothing short of dreamy, as their closest friends gathered to celebrate their engagement al fresco. The food was almost too beautiful to eat and the scenery was breathtaking. I wanted to sit down and join them for dinner or at the very least for the after dinner bonfire. Food by Epicurean Catering, photos by Becky Schwartz and planned by Tandem Events. See the rest of the night in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine.

Taylor and Johan were one of the most relaxed couples I have ever had the pleasure of collaborating with. The emphasis from the start was family, friends and fun. They achieved their goal and then some. They had an intimate ceremony followed by one of the most epic dance parties I have seen. It was the perfect mix traditional elements and non traditional touches such as Taylor’s blush Watters gown. All the details came together with help from Love This Day Events, Faces by Liz and Ashley Sawtelle Photography. It was so gorgeous that it was featured twice on Snippet and Ink and Carats and Cake.

Mandy and Bryce’s SPRUCE MOUNTAIN RANCH fall wedding has to go down as one of my favorite weddings of all time AND it was just named one of the BEST WEDDINGS OF 2015.  From the gown, to the flowers, to the place settings – not a detail was overlooked.  I was lucky enough to collaborate with a couple of my favorite local creatives – BRUMLEY AND WELLS and A VINTAGE AFFAIR EVENTS AND RENTALS.  It was hard to pick a favorite piece at this wedding but the day was as close to perfect as it gets.  Mandy and Bryce were surrounded by family and great friends and incorporated heirlooms and special pieces that made their day unique and very special for them.  It quickly became WEDDING SPARROWS most talked about feature of all time, go figure.  The dance party looked pretty fun too!  See the full feature HERE.

Three years ago, when I purchased European Flower Shop, I fulfilled my lifelong dream of owning a floral design studio. Buying a business with an established client base and a great reputation allowed me to enter the Colorado wedding market with a little more security – and a bit of handholding – I would have never had starting from scratch on my own. I’ll always be grateful for what I learned from European Flower Shop and feel so fortunate to have carried its fifteen-year legacy into 2015.

I am proud the business has evolved over time to reflect my own vision, direction, and taste. Today, I am thrilled to introduce to you Ali Fortunato Botanics + Styling. As I begin this exciting new chapter, I look forward to providing my clients with the same high-level customer service as always while placing a greater emphasis on creating an individualized approach to making any event a unique, unforgettable, and beautiful experience.

From my grandfather’s garden in New York to the mountain ranges of Colorado and beyond, I invite you to be a part of this incredible ride. You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest if you’d like. Or please don’t hesitate to reach out via email at Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
